Wilson uses only recycled or salvaged woods in his woodwork. He is committed to the conservation of Costa Rica's forests and enjoys the adventure of driving about the far flung corners of Costa Rica in the search of fallen logs and long dead and dried out trees. The wood he uses at any one time varies according to what timbers he has been able to find.
